Meet our team
Jenny Cooper
Director and Independent Prescribing Optometrist
Jenny has 20 years experience of the optical industry starting out with a degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing, followed by a first degree honours in Optometry.
With a desire to never stop learning, Jenny has gone on to qualifying in Independent Prescribing, allowing her to offer patients therapeutic solutions when presenting with various eye emergencies or ocular surface conditions. She has also specialised in Medical Retina and has completed two post graduate University courses on the subject.
As well as spending most of her working life in Optics within the independent sector, she also has years of experience working part-time at the Royal Eye Infirmary, in Plymouth, in paediatric and medical retina clinics.
Lucy Thompson
Joint Business Owner and Manager
With a passion for exceptional customer service, Lucy has been in hospitality and retail for almost 30 years, across the country and Australia. Lucy has a University degree in Social Science, creating the optimal foundation for her working life where human interactions have always been on the forefront.
A driven and motivated team member, Lucy likes to provide patients with a tailored experience. She loves to understand our patients individual requirements and with a customer focussed mindset, outstanding communication skills and problem-solving ability, Lucy is our multi-tasking queen. When not busy booking appointments or giving frame styling advice, she might be found making the perfect coffee for our patients!
